Our Information and Assistance Program is designed to bridge the gap for seniors seeking helpful resources and services to address their individual needs. Our staff is trained to help our community connect with and utilize resources and services such as:

State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)
SHIP is a national program that offers one-on-one assistance, counseling, and education to Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to assist them in making informed decisions about their care and benefits. These services support those on limited incomes, Medicare beneficiaries under the age of 65 with disabilities, and people who are dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid. Counselors are also trained to help those with limited income to apply for programs that may reduce healthcare costs, such as Medicaid, Medicare Savings Programs, and Extra Help/Low Income Subsidy.
SHIP services are delivered by State Units on Aging or State Departments of Insurance in partnerships with local Area Agencies on Aging and other community based partners such as our organization.
