Volunteer Drivers Needed!

Do you have an extra day or two each month? You can make a difference in someone's life by volunteering just a couple times a month, and you can make a difference in your own life through volunteer work!

Volunteering can

  • provide you with a sense of purpose and achievement

  • help you feel like a bigger part of your community

  • improve your self-esteem and confidence

  • give you the ability to share your talents and learn new skills

  • combat stress, loneliness, social isolation and depression

  • help you meet new people, which can help you feel more connected and valued

The Transportation Program with the Lake County Council on Aging is always in need of volunteer drivers. The LCCOA has vehicles that provide transportation for riders to get to medical appointments, shopping and to social appointments and gatherings. These vehicles are driven by qualified volunteers and are available for trips to Missoula and Kalispell and towns in Lake County.

Our transportation program is available to all residents of Lake County. If you have extra time and would like to help us with this wonderful program for our community, please call Martha Allen, Transportation Coordinator at (406) 676-2367 ext. 1 or fill out this application:

Volunteer Application and email it to homeservices@lakecountycoa.org.
