Job Description

Lake County Council on Aging (LCCOA) is seeking qualified and community-oriented candidates to apply for the position as the next Executive Director.

The Executive Director is a professional human services position responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of Council on Aging programs and activities to meet the current and emerging needs of the community. Responsible for developing and maintaining oversight of programs, staffing, grants, budgets, and regulations while collaborating with community groups, town committees, departments, and agencies for the delivery of services. This position requires a dynamic, adaptive, and resourceful leader who, amidst an ever-changing environment, inspires committed engagement in diverse communities, staff, and board alike.

The ideal professional at least four years’ experience managing total operations of a business. Familiarity with and experience in being a small team leader, planning, implementing and operating service programs, accounting and cash flow management, grant-writing, and fundraising is ideal.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday; anticipated salary range between $40,000-$45,000, depending on qualifications and experience. No insurance is offered at this time but there is a generous starting paid time off package of 14 vacation days per year, 12 sick days per year, and all Federal Holidays. We highly value work/life balance and offer a hybrid schedule.
